Poster and title design project of the short film “Don” (Bridal Dress)

• The film tells the story of Raheleh, a woman whose husband has recently died and who, by fulfilling the orders of a wedding dress maker, provides for herself, her mother and her teenage son.

The owner of the bridal dress maker, who is married, proposes marriage to her. Meanwhile, Raheleh realizes that she is pregnant;

Now she has to decide between abortion and remarriage.

• Don means “dress” in Turkish.

• This poster is an unofficial movie poster.

In the content of the poster, two points were tried:

1- The main character, who is a woman in the center of various responsibilities and words, is a “fellow” human being and has singular value and authority;

2- The fetus, who is valuable as a human being and has the right to live.

• By using decorative motifs around the character’s head, and halos of light behind the head, and placing the head and eyes in the center, an attempt has been made to present the concept of her value, both as a human being and as a mother.

• By using mannequin pieces on the character’s face, and wearing a wedding dress, an attempt is made to point out that the decisions and pressures of the people around are turning a person into a helpless person, confined to the decisions of others; The same level as a female mannequin

• For the fetus, the element of luminous butterflies is used as a metaphor of “innocence” to indicate its importance.

• فیلم داستان راحله، زنیست که همسرش به تازگی فوت کرده است و با انجام سفارشات مزون لباس عروس، خرج و مخارج خود و مادر و پسر نوجوانش را تامین می‌کند.

صاحب مزون لباس عروس هم که متاهل است به او پیشنهاد ازدواج می دهد؛ در همین حین راحله متوجه می شود که باردار است؛

حال او باید میان دوراهی سقط جنین و ازدواج مجدد تصمیم بگیرد.

• دون در زبان ترکی به معنی « لباس » است.

• این پوستر، پوستر غیر رسمی فیلم است.

• در طراحی پوستر این فیلم سعی شده از محتوای خود فیلم و عناصر داخل فیلم استفاده شود؛

به عنوان مثال از لحاظ استفاده از عناصر، از لباس عروس استفاده شده است، که شغل نقش اصلی فیلم، دوخت آن است؛

یا بر صورت شخصیت از تکه های مانکن های پلاستیکی استفاده شده است که در مزون ها استفاده می شود.

در محتوای پوستر سعی بر دو نکته بود:

1- شخصیت اصلی که زنیست در مرکز مسئولیت ها و سخنان مختلف، “هم” انسان است و به صورت مفرد ارزشمندی و اختیار دارد؛

2- جنین که او هم به عنوان یک انسان ارزشمند است و حق زندگی دارد.

• با استفاده نقوس تزئینی در دور سر شخصیت، و هاله های نور در پشت سر، و در مرکز قرار گرفتن سر و چشم، سعی بر ارائه همین مفهوم ارزشمندی او، هم به عنوان انسان و هم به عنوان مادر بوده است.

• با استفاده از تکه های مانکن بر صورت کاراکتر، و لباس عروس بر تن، سعی در اشاره به این است که تصمیمات و فشار های اطرافیان در حال تبدیل شخص به انسانی بی اختیار، محصور در تصمیمات دیگران است؛ هم رده با یک مانکن مونث

• برای جنین نیز از عنصر پروانه های نورانی، به عنوان استعاره ای از ” معصومیت ” برای اشاره به اهمیتش استفاده شده است.
